We’re transforming the upstairs of our building into three studio/workshops and an occasional gallery space. On Saturday we opened our doors for a preview exhibition, with furniture made in the Plane Structure workshop by Matt, and ceramics by Birmingham-based artist Kate Andrews.
Matt’s tables are made from a variety of hardwoods, inspired by modernist and arts & crafts design. Kate’s ceramics take their inspiration from mid-twentieth century brutalism and are hand-thrown on a potter’s wheel before being glazed.
