Plane Structure is a design, joinery and fabrication workshop, based in Birmingham.
We offer custom fabrication, CNC and installation services to a range of clients, including artists, designers, galleries, architects, hospitality and commercial businesses.
Director Matthew Foster is from a fine art background and began his career working with gallery technical teams. He established Plane Structure in 2011 to fulfill a need for skilled art fabricators in Birmingham.
Since then the company and its workshop has grown to deliver a wide range of specialist carpentry and joinery, to clients across the UK.
A designer-maker at heart, Matt also offers a small and beautifully-made range of domestic furniture.
