I’ve created a flower display rack inspired by a piece seen at Sissinghurst last summer.
The original (bottom image) houses prize specimens in small vases, with labels to tell visitors what to look out for on their visit.
My version (top image) uses boiling tubes to create a more petite rack that sits happily on a shelf – it can hold three large stems or 6 smaller stems at a time. It’s made from douglas fir and with time and use it will age to a nice deep colour
