I’ve spent a few days recently helping out some friends who are opening a coffee shop at Middleton Hall near Tamworth. Reclaimed floorboards becoming ceilings after some thorough insulating.

We are mid build of an exhibition stand for Birmingham City University for London Graduate Fashion Week. A couple of weeks prefabbing in the workshop followed by a couple of very busy days putting it all together at the Truman Brewery off Brick Lane.

I’ve made these free standing box shelves for Robin Kirkham of An Endless Supply – the designers who inhabit the office at the end of my workshop. Three different sizes, all made from 12mm birch plywood.
