This system of display cases and walls was commissioned by the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for their new building.

The system is made from European ash to match the internal cladding of the building, which gives the units a blonde, honeyed appearance. The cases are on casters for ease of movement, with toughened glass covers. The walls are in a modular design so can be used in different configurations according to the needs of the curator; the front provide a white wall for traditional hanging, but the beauty of the wood gives the aesthetic of a piece of furniture. Finally, the 5 bar design that links each unit is a nod to the musical stave.

This system is on semi-permanent display in the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
